What Is TriPollar? TriPollar's unique technology offers facial rejuvenation without surgery. TriPollar has taken technology that previously used two nodes to deliver the electromagnetic pulse and upgraded to three nodes thereby better controlling the amount of energy in and more precisely controlling the amount of energy out. It has been found effective in reducing facial wrinkles, regenerating collagen, tightening and toning the skin, improving the appearance of cellulite, and reducing body circumference.
Back to Top How does TriPollar Work? The TriPollar technology is available in the US in the form of a device called Apollo, which uses three nodes to release an electromagnetic pulse which will allow the skin to reach a temperature of between 40C and 42C for facial skin tightening. Because the technology uses a negative pole for the presence of each positive pole, it can effectively heat the skin in a shorter time using only the amount of power necessary, thereby eliminating the hot, burning feeling of similar, past products and producing a safer product for the patient to use. It's focused, selective deep heating stimulates the body's natural skin renewal process, tightening existing collagen fibers and prompting new collagen generation. It also accelerates fat metabolism to cause fat cells to shrink, improving cellulite appearance and reducing circumference in the abdomen, arms, flanks and thighs. TriPollar distinguishes itself in a few unique ways; for instance, the results for TriPollar can be seen immediately and the results are also proven to last, there is no need for skin cooling like there was with the older technology (ergo, a safer procedure for patients since it uses the heat more effectively), and is able to be used on any skin pigment. It is currently approved by the FDA for reduction of mild to moderate facial wrinkling; it is currently approved and being used in Europe to treat facial wrinkling as well as cellulite and circumferential reduction.
Back to Top How Much Does TriPollar Cost? The cost of TriPollar depends on the size of the area being treated (the face vs the body) and how many treatments are recommended to achieve the desired results but patients can expect to pay between $150 and $300.
Back to Top What Are The Risks Of TriPollar? TriPollar is completely non-surgical and non-invasive so there is very little risks associated with the treatments. There have been reports of mild bruising that dissipated within one week, typically located on the thighs, according to Dr. Crystal Broussard of the Athena Wellness Center in the Woodlands, Texas.
