Zerona, or Low Level Laser Therapy (LLLT) uses lasers to melt fat which is then expelled through the body's natural processes. Completely non-invasive, there is no cutting and no surgery involved - the patient lies beneath 5 strategically placed lasers for approximately 40 minutes, for a total of 6-9 sessions. "If you're a busy business person and you don't have time to recuperate from surgery, Zerona is an ideal procedure," says Dr. Robert Burke, a cosmetic surgeon and provider of Zerona in Ann Arbor, MI. These sessions are broken out to 3-4 per week and the end result is an aggregate loss of anywhere from 3.5 - 9 inches.

While many providers are offering aggressive introductory rates for Zerona, such as Oregon Zerona provider, Dr. Elizabeth VanderVeer, expect to pay anywhere between $1,750 - $2,500 for a full course of treatment. With some providers, this cost includes supplements for after procedure care.

Not only is Zerona good for fat reduction, FDA studies have shown they may be good for your health. Dr. Thomas Barnes, Orange County Zerona provider says, "The FDA not only has approved Zerona for circumferential fat reduction (slimming) - they also have cleared it for improving the good cholesterol and lowering the bad cholesterol - that means improving the "lipid profile."

"I'm stunned," said VanderVeer Center patient Edie S. from the Portland area, "I lost 7 inches in two weeks. Unbelievable!"
