cyber mondayToday is Cyber Monday, the online follow-up to Black Friday, where millions flock to online retailers for holiday gift buying savings. This has been called the least productive work day of the year as workers spend more time shopping than working.

Lynne Curtin"Real Housewife of Orange County" cast member Lynne Curtin showed off the results of her facelift procedure. Lynne and daughter Alexis both visited cosmetic surgeon Dr. Milind Ambe for a consultation. Alexis was looking to have a rhinoplasty performed while Lynne wanted to be rid of a few wrinkles and some droopiness.



Chaz BonoChaz Bono spoke to Good Morning America this month about the gender reassignment procedures he's undergoing. He has already had breast reduction surgery and is taking hormone supplements which lower his voice and work towards making his appearance more manly. He has reported that he is pleased with the results so far.



BotaxDemocrats proposed a 5% tax on elective cosmetic procedures, termed the Botax. While some believe that the tax will help to fund the multi-billion dollar price tag of health care reform, others maintain that it unfairly taxes the women of the working middle class, the largest cosmetic consumer group.



lady justiceCarrie Prejean settled her breast implant suit. She had sued pageant producers for stripping her of her crown claiming that it was religious discrimination, while the producers stated she had not lived up to her responsibilities as Miss California. The producers countersued Prejean for failure to pay back a loan they had provided to pay for her breast implant surgery.
