When a patient is researching cosmetic surgery procedures, the number one thing they want to know is what their result will look like. While no device can show with 100% certainty what the outcome will be, the Vectra M-3 device from Canfield Scientific offers a realistic portrayal of what a patient can expect from their cosmetic surgery procedure.
As cosmetic surgeon Dr. Drew Ordon of The Doctors demonstrates in the Season 32 premiere today, he is able to provide patients with an idea of what they can expect from a number of different procedures. He performs a virtual facelift on an audience member to show her what cosmetic procedures can do. After a special camera makes a virtual model of her face, the doctor is able to preview changes such as those from fractional resurfacing, skin tightening or an eye lift.
The Vectra M3 shows patients what they can look forward to in 3D so that they can look at not only their profile, but every angle so they can be sure of what procedures they want done. It is important to remember that the images projected are not a guarantee of results but can give you a good idea of what to expect.
