Help razor bumps go down quicker with ice

  1. Razor Bump Blues If you haven't discovered laser hair removal yet and you're still shaving down there, you're certain to get the occasional ingrown hair. Use cold therapy to cure this one. Dip a paper towel in cold water for a while, or use an ice cube, and hold it to the bump for a few minutes to see swelling and redness will go down in about 15 minutes. This trick also works for redness after waxing.

  2. Stinky Feet When you sweat, bacteria from your feet can get trapped in your shoes, making both your shoes and your feet reek. Try putting powder on the soles of your shoes to absorb the perspiration, and wear thicker cotton socks to soak up new sweat.

  3. A New Zit The next time you feel a zit about to come to the surface, try this hint to keep the pimple away for a few hours. Run some hot water over a metal spoon for about 10 seconds, and press the back side of the spoon on the rising zit. Not only will it postpone the blemish for a little while, it will also keep the pimple smaller when it does come out.

  4. Seeing Red Bloodshot eyes aren't sexy, and no one wants to show up for a date or a meeting looking hungover. Simply close your eyes and splash the lids with some cold water to shrink the blood vessels and get your baby blues sparkling again.

  5. The Flaky Shoulder A black dress with white flakes is a beauty killer. Head to the bathroom and massage your scalp for a few minutes. Natural oils will be released to help block flaking temporarily, but you may want to try an anti-dandruff shampoo to get the problem in check.

  6. Foot Follies Sexy stilettos are great, but can be killer on the feet. If your toes are feeling cramped in tight heels, try running ice along the balls of your feet for a few minutes. Your feet are probably a little swollen from the tight toes and the cold helps bring the swelling down.

Looking good and feeling great don't have to take forever. Remember these helpful hints the next time you find yourself needing a beauty fix right away.
