Alma Lasers Launches Soprano XL - A New Era in Laser Hair Removal

The Soprano XL is Alma Lasers brand new solution to painful laser hair removal techniques. Alma Lasers claim that their new system provides virtually painless hair removal by integrating an in-motion treatment technique with low fluence, rapid pulsing diode technology, which is unique in the industry because of its high peak power. This process eliminates the pain of hair removal because it is essentially “hair removal in motion.”

NEW: Alma Soprano XL to air on "The Doctors" TV Show Monday January 19, 2009 and on April 16, 2009

The Soprano XL has two modes, the SHR mode, which provides in-motion hair removal, and the more conventional HR mode.

Ziv Karni, PhD and President of Alma Lasers, says that the SHR mode increases the temperature of the hair follicle and the surrounding tissue, which damages the hair follicle and prevents re-growth. However, the skin itself is protected and the entire process is completely painless and suitable for all skin and hair types.

Howard Kelly, CEO of Alma Lasers, is confident that the Soprano XL will be very successful in its market and preliminary investigations by David J. Friedman show that customers were very satisfied with the product and did not show any discomfort.

Alma Lasers is excited about the Soprano XL and certain that it is going to make painful laser hair removal a thing of the past.
