Does Cellulaze hurt? Apparently not too much because it was performed live by Dr. Bruce Katz on this morning's Hoda & Kathie Lee segment of The Today Show. The segment was titled "Needles, Knives or Nothing" and Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb discussed and underwent several cosmetic procedures.
Since it's release we've been contacting doctors looking for before and after photos and unfortunately most providers do not have any yet. Although the Cellulaze procedure only takes about an hour to perform, it takes 4 to 6 months to see the final results. The new cellulite procedure was just FDA approved earlier this year, and most of the physicians offering it have only had their devices for a month or so.
But we have received many patient testimonials including these two from Dr. M. Joffrey in Chicago Illinois:
- Paige who is single and 33 and a manager of a boutique says, "Ever since I can remember I have had cellulite and hated it. I never would wear shorts because I was always so embaressed of the "cottage cheese" look. I did everything from tanning, diets, lotions and exercise to help smooth out the lumpy appearance on my legs but nothing ever worked. The moment I saw Dr Joffrey on the news introducing Cellulaze, was the moment I called to schedule my appointment. One time treatment for cellulite, could this be true!? The same day I went to Lift Laser and Body for my consult was the day I scheduled my procedure. Everyone was so sweet and I felt really comfortable there and so I knew I was in the right hands. The procedure had minimal discomfort during the numbing process and then I felt nothing at all. I couldn't believe how easy it was! I cannot wait for my results! Cheers to smooth skin, finally!"
- Dana, a 45 year old mother of one who works in the medical field proclaims, "I am in the cosmetic medical profession, so it's important I stay in great shape. But no matter how much I dieted, exercised or massaged in lotions and potions; I never got the cellulite on my thighs and buttocks to go away. Frustration! So, I spoke to Dr. Mir Joffrey about 'Cellulaze'; and, after he explained the process, I decided it was worth a try. What a great experience! I was surprised at the simplicity of the operation, and how much better I looked after a short recovery. The next day I worked 15 hours. I've never looked or felt so wonderful before; and, most importantly, because I feel better about myself, I've noticed a positive effect on my career. Quite remarkable!"
Most of the comments we've received describe the most painful part of the procedure as the injection of the Lidocaine (for numbing). Some reported tenderness and sore areas for a few days following the treatment. Actual Cellulaze Results of Dr. Bruce Katz, the surgeon featured on Hoda and Kathie Lee
