Recently in an article in the U-T San Diego paper, Beverly Hills plastic surgeon Dr. Robert Rey discussed how times have changed in the cosmetic surgery world. He said that the days of procedures involving incisions in the body, shoving and jabbing liposuction tools in and out of fleshy areas and inserting butt or breast implants into patients are over, largely because of less invasive plastic surgery methods.
Dr. Rey warned that while non-invasive cosmetic procedures are perceived as safer, patients must keep in mind that these are still medical procedures, and they must do their homework when choosing a doctor. They should also have realistic expectations.
