Recently on ABC's Channel 7 in New York City a story was featured about a woman who is a cancer survivor who had radiation tattoo removal.
Manhattan dermatologist Dr. Bruce Katz zapped each tattoo for about five seconds. The laser breaks up the ink which is then slowly absorbed by the body.
"We have this new technology, it's called the Picosure Laser from Cynosure. It actually allows us to get rid of these tattoos much more quickly in fewer treatments," Dr. Katz said.
