Recently a concern was raised in a blog post by Dr. Sam Lam a facial plastic surgeon in Plano Texas (near Dallas) regarding fat transfer to the jaw line. A woman wrote that 2 months prior she had fat transfer from her neck to chin and her jaw was still quite lopsided. She had hoped to have better results at this point and was wondering if this was the final result she was stuck with.
Dr. Lam said it was a difficult question to answer but if she were his patient he would advise to give it at least 6 months post op for final result.
