eMatrix Skin Resurfacing for all skin colorsAccording to the American Academy of Dermatology, by mid-teens, more than 40 percent of adolescents have acne or acne scarring, which requires treatment by a dermatologist.

eMatrix is a new kind of non-laser fractional skin resurfacing for the widest diversity of skin types and colors. eMatrix is being used for acne scarring but is also used for wrinkles, poor skin texture, sun damage and more.

Patients can expect 2-3 days of redness and swelling and up to 7 days of the light scabbing from the fractionated tip which is completely normal and expected. This is not a lunchtime procedure and most people will take up to 5 days off work.

Most patients opt for 3 or 4 treatments. Each treatment takes about 30 minutes. A numbing cream is applied prior to treatment.
