Dr. Houtan Chaboki of Potomac Plastic Surgery in Washington DC uses the phrase "Facetime Facelift" to describe a growing trend of people appearing in videos and photos and becoming more aware of an aging neck or double chin.
According to Dr. Chaboki's blog post, "We're all seeing ourselves more often on photos and video, which brings more attention to natural wrinkles and aging. In addition during video conferencing (laptop, phone, etc), one tends to tilt the chin downward which worsens the appearance of the neck."
