"When a patient finds a surgeon that they truly trust and feel comfortable with, they will get the best results possible from their surgery. There are many inexperienced and under qualified surgeons who will perform these procedures on just about anybody, so patients should know what qualifications to look for when they are doing their search," explains Dr. Kevin Sadati.
For instance, if a patient is looking for a rhinoplasty surgeon, its important that they also specialize in nasal surgery. If a patient is looking for a natural-looking facelift, they should find a surgeon who specializes in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery and not simply in general cosmetic surgery.
