Dr. Grady Core of Birmingham AL recently had his presentation on lower eyelid mini blepharoplasty honored as a top presentation at the annual meeting of the American Society of Plastic Surgery.
Dr. Core’s techniques for eyelid rejuvenation has progressed over the years. His latest innovation of lower eyelid mini blepharoplasty consists of using only a tiny access incision beside the lower eyelid and without interrupting any muscles around the eye. Typically, the issue with lower eyelid procedures is the retraction of the lower lid and an odd appearance, have thus far been avoided with the new techniques of mini blepharoplasty developed by Dr. Core.
Upper eyelid rejuvenation can be performed under local anesthesia in the office or it can be performed in association with other procedures that are being performed under general anesthesia at the hospital.
