MyShape Lipo, located in Las Vegas, reported seeing an increase in liposuction procedures in November of 2013 and the demand has only gotten stronger in the new year.
They believe that since nearly 70% of patients fly in to Las Vegas for their liposuction procedure at MyShape Lipo, a nationwide demand has risen for the procedure. The most common area treated are the abdomen and waist. And this demand is certainly not limited to women. Over 35% of patients at MyShape are men.
“We’ve worked hard to make it very easy for people to come to us from around the world,” says Trevor Schmidt PA-C Liposuction Specialist and owner of MyShape Lipo. “We’ve seen a steep increase in demand for liposuction in this first quarter, which is great for the industry as a whole.”
They are not the only ones in the industry seeing an increase in sales. “I’m finding that many of our suppliers are stressed now with the increase in orders that picked up since the new year,” says Schmidt. “I think that this is a good sign that the economy is coming around, certainly consumer confidence is rising.”
