A form of skin resurfacing with absolutely no down time, using sea salt and a positive pressure machine to remove dead surface layers of the skin. It differs from microdermabrasion, which uses aluminum oxide crystals and a negative pressure machine. Following macrodermabrasion, a scientifically formulated cream is penetrated into the deeper layers of the dermis with the use of ultrasound. This further enhances your results by stimulating the underlying structures of the skin to rebuild collagen, thereby improving firmness of the skin. Macrodermabrasion is ideal for fine lines and wrinkles, pigmentation, and mild acne scarring of the face. It is also FDA approved for the treatment of stretchmarks. A series of 6-7 treatments is required (every two weeks), and most appointments are completed within 1 hour.Request a Consultation
