Facial skin loses elasticity and gains wrinkles with age, causing drooping brows as well as creases and lines that can give you a sad, old or tired appearance. Many factors can intensify those negative effects, including sun exposure, weight fluctuations and heredity. A forehead lift can address these problems by surgically altering the muscles and tissues that cause wrinkling and/or drooping in the area above the eyes. Endoscopic forehead lift is most commonly used to minimize the appearance of aging in people over the age of 40. It can also help people of any age who have developed furrows or frown lines due to stress or muscle activity. The surgeon elevates the skin and underlying tissues of the upper face, and may remove part of the muscle that causes frown lines between the brows. The result is a more youthful, relaxed, and refreshed appearance. People with inherited conditions, such as a low, heavy brow or furrowed lines above the nose can also achieve a more alert and refreshed look with this procedure. Soft tissue fixation remains the least controllable and least predictable part of the forehead lift procedure. Until now, only suture based and percutaneous screw fixation techniques were available, often with frustrating results. The Endotine Forehead offers a novel and effective solution for fixation of the scalp tissue, addressing a primary challenge of the forehead lift procedure. The Endotine Forehead features sutureless MultiPoint Technology (MPT™), a breakthrough platform technology designed to facilitate facial aesthetic procedures, reduce operating time and improve surgical outcomes. The device’s unique design provides multiple points of contact with the suspended tissue, distributing tension to maximize fixation strength. The Endotine Forehead allows fixation times approaching less than one minute per side in the hands of experienced clinicians. The adjustable Endotine Forehead design allows simple readjustment of tissue for greater aesthetic control of brow height and shape, and the Endotine Forehead’s robust construction and multiple tine design provide secure strength throughout the crucial, early healing period.Request a Consultation
