"Girls Night Out" 25th Anniversary

Marina Plastic Surgery Associates celebrated their 25th anniversary in their luxurious offices with their full-blown event, "Girls Night Out." Nearly 700 patients, guests, and friends attended the fantastic event which was hosted by the founder, Medical Director and one of the leading board certified plastic surgeons in Los Angeles, Dr. Grant Stevens. Nominated by his peers to the distinguished title of America's Best Physicians in "The Guide To Top Doctors," Dr. Stevens specializes in a wide range of procedures, from the newest non-surgical treatments to life-changing surgeries.

Along with Dr. Stevens, Director of Marina Plastic Surgery Associates Charlie Sheridan and staff welcomed friends and guests from across the country, including American Health and Beauty's editor in chief, Keith Veseleny and guest star, Millionaire Matchmaker Patti Stanger. Designed to be an evening of pampering, luxury and fun, "Girls Night Out" was a proper celebration with disco balls, lots of pink and black feathers and shiny decorations.

Beginning with Chippendale studs greeting guests at the entrance of the offices, all attendees were given pink goody bags filled with beauty essentials and offered delightful sweets, sumptuous food and drinks throughout the evening. Several special areas were set up to pamper guests: a mineral makeup salon, Tarot card reader and a jewelry station where attendees could purchase discounted sparklies.

However, the highlight of the evening was the live demonstrations of cutting edge non-surgical treatments such as the fat-reduction device Exilis in Marina Del Rey - of which Dr. Stevens is one of the first to offer in the Los Angeles area. While other demos such as Zeltiq, Thermage and BOTOX were non-invasive in nature, the restorative nature of plastic surgery was also touched upon.

Of the nearly 700 attendees, many were patients of Dr. Stevens from as far back as 25 years. "What a night!" Dr. Stevens said. "So many patients came back to celebrate with us and many shared their experiences. We are blessed to have such a great following, and I was thrilled to be able to chat with patients who came to celebrate 5, 10, and even 25 years later."

The evening was not only a "Girls Night Out," male patients were also present who as recent statistics have shown, more of which have increasingly gotten aesthetic procedures. Dr. Stevens' male patients were more than happy to show off their results: defined abs and smaller stomachs from liposuction or Zeltiq.

Great prizes and steep discount coupons were awarded to several lucky attendees, on top of the goody bag that each guest was given. "We were extremely impressed with the sheer magnitude of 'Girls Night Out' and the wide scope of procedures offered by Dr. Stevens, from surgical to the newest technology available in aesthetic medicine today," says Mr. Veseleny, "The meticulous planning for the event was evident at every turn of the evening, including the informative live demonstrations, which were a huge hit with the attendees."

While guests and friends were enjoying the festivities, Dr. Stevens took a moment to reflect on the past 25 years Marina Plastic Surgery Associates has offered aesthetic procedures and plastic surgery in Marina Del Rey as well as speculate on what the future has to bring for cosmetic surgery. "I am looking forward to the next 25 years. Plastic surgery is just exploding with new non-invasive procedures and exciting surgical techniques," Dr. Stevens said. "Can you imagine what kind of 'Star Wars' lasers will be in our future?"
