For the first time since the inception of THE Aesthetic Show, the black tie awards ceremony THE Aesthetic Awards was conceived to honor some of the industry's best clinical results. Taking place at The ARIA Resort in Las Vegas, the event was hosted by The Doctors Dr. Drew Ordon and judged by a group of industry leaders comprised of renowned plastic surgeons, dermatologists and members of the media who cover aesthetics, including American Health and Beauty's Editor in Chief, Keith Veseleny.
Dr. Robert Troell wins Best Non-Invasive Body

Winner of the Best Non-Surgical Body Contouring Enhancement Award, Dr. Robert Troell has two offices: one in Laguna Beach, CA and the other in Las Vegas, NV specializing both in the face and the body. The 43 year old patient came to see Dr. Troell regarding her weight gain after injuring her Achilles tendon. Previously a competitive runner, Dr. Troell's patient was having trouble losing the weight she had gained after her injury. "Her main concerns were excess fatty tissue, mild skin laxity and some skin contour irregularities. She preferred not to have surgery, did not want any downtime and minimal to no pain and bruising," describes Dr. Troell, "She elected to have a nonsurgical method with no downtime, no anesthesia and no post-treatment pain known as the VASER Shape."
While the patient's weight remained the same after the treatment, her abdominal circumference decreased over 2 inches after just 2 treatments with observed skin tightening and no complications.
