Blythe Danner, 67 year old actress who plays Robert DeNiro's wife in the upcoming Little Fockers and mother to Gwyneth Paltrow, reportedly told UsMagazine.com that there's nothing wrong with a little Botox
The actress spoke at the New York city premiere of the movie, the latest installment in the Meet the Parents trilogy with Ben Stiller. She told UsMagazine.com reporters, "Well, I think we've all fooled around with it.... I won't go into detail, but we all need a little help from our friends!" She says that with so many different treatments available, why not take advantage of what's available. She does say though that sometimes people go too far with cosmetic surgery and that she especially dislikes overdone cheeks and lips.
Botox and other injectables like it, Dysport and Xeomin all work by using a purified and diluted form of the botulinum toxin which blocks nerve signals. When BOTOX Cosmetic is injected into facial lines, those muscles are paralyzed, making the wrinkles less visible. Results last for anywhere between three and eight months and are visible a short while (usually just a few days) after the BOTOX is injected into the affected area.
