Denver Channel 7 news recently aired a story about Devin Barnhart, a Colorado resident who had burn scars that covered over 75% of his body. Local Plastic Surgeon, Dr. Manish Shah used a fractional CO2 laser to treat the burn scars.

Although the burn scars will probably be with Devin forever, the UltraPulse TotalFX laser is able to fade the scars so they are less noticeable.
This isn't the first time the Lumenis UltraPulse has been called in to treat burn victims - the most famous case has been the The Berns Triplets, who were treated by Dr. Jill Waibel in Florida. The Berns triplets have started a new foundation called Three for Hope. The foundation seeks to assist those in need of treatment following fires: support and resources for the survivors, including laser skin treatments such as what the triplets have undergone. The Three for Hope foundation also hopes to begin providing household items for families who've lost their homes in a fire.
