Users of ELASTILash, a peptide-based solution, can expect to see the appearance of thicker, fuller lashes in just weeks?without discoloring eyelids or affecting iris pigmentation. ELASTILash will be available through Obagi-dispensing physicians immediately.

"In our research, we heard from both patients and physicians that there was a need for a safe eyelash enhancement product from Obagi," Al Hummel, Interim President and CEO of Obagi Medical, said. "Obagi is known for delivering efficacious products to market and the introduction of this new category is a further example of this tradition. We're thrilled to fill this need in our market."

In a recent clinical trial, 70 percent of patients reported the appearance of thicker, fuller lashes in as little as four to six weeks.

ELASTILash is hypo-allergenic and has been dermatologist and ophthalmologist-tested.1 The product has not produced evidence of darkening eyelids or changes in iris pigmentation, and thus may be an ideal option for patients with light eye and skin color.

ELASTILash is a patient-friendly product; to use, simply brush the formula to the base of the upper eyelash line each evening before bedtime. ELASTILash does not require the wand to be changed with each application.

ELASTILash will retail for $50-$60 in aesthetic physician offices nationwide.
