Denise Austin's "Daily Dozen" Weight Loss Plan


Many of us find it more difficult to lose weight as we age and now fitness guru Denise Austin shares her tips for losing as much as 12 lbs in 2 weeks on "The Doctors."

Losing weight is no easy task and with bathing suit season fast approaching, many of us are scrambling to drop our winter weight as we prepare to pack up our sweaters and get out our bikinis. Denise's program is designed for those without much free time to exercise. The program is structured in dozens, "12 easy exercises to do in 12 minutes every day, and a different workout each day of the week, so by the end of the week you've hit it all, 640 muscles from head to toe," says Denise. She points out that everyone needs a plan for weight loss and this program provides not only an exercise regimen but a diet plan consisting of 12 different foods each day of the week for a balanced diet.

Often, for those who lose a significant amount of weight, they may have loose skin or spotty fat deposits that resist diet and exercise.
