Water Assisted Lipo: Body-Jet Takes Aim at Fat

Body-Jet Liposuction uses water jets to break up fat, decreasing treatment time and pain.

The {!Body-Jet} Liposuction system, recently approved by the FDA, offers men and women a new option in liposuction technology. This alternative to traditional liposuction was developed in Germany in 2000 and has been used in Asia and Europe since 2004.

With FDA approval, the procedure now comes to America and, according to Dr. Robert Langdon, will be launched at his Langdon Center in Guilford, CT in a free beauty event on January 21, 2010. The Langdon Center will be educating the public about this exciting breakthrough at this free beauty seminar, which will also provide information on both minimally invasive and traditional body improvement procedures such as Zerona, Botox, Restylane, Sculptra, SlimLipo, Radiesse, Photo Facials, Micro Laser peels, skin tightening and resurfacing and laser hair, vein and tattoo removal among others.

Attendees of the educational seminar will also receive special discounts, as well as refreshments and the chance to learn about this exciting breakthrough in the plastic surgery field. As Langdon says, the center is "very excited to be the first in Connecticut to offer Body-Jet Water Assisted liposuction."

The Body-Jet Liposuction system makes use of pressurized water to clean the extracellular matrix holding fat cells together, washing away fat cells and allowing fat to be removed more safely and gently than in traditional liposuction. The water-jets are gentle and the procedure is faster and more effective than traditional liposuction methods, with patients reporting excellent results.

As Langdon reports, "the results are excellent, the procedure is gentle and the recovery is rapid. Within only one day of the procedure, most patients have minimal bruising and swelling. The Body-Jet procedure offers a revolutionary new way to reduce body fat in a safe and comfortable manner."
