Andie MacDowell Embarrassed in Nude Role

Andie MacDowell takes it off as district attorney Monique Lamont in new Lifetime movies.

hollywood signAndie MacDowell is probably best known for her roles in "St. Elmo's Fire" and "Sex, Lies, and Videotape." She steps out of the box though in two recent Lifetime movies based on Patricia Cornwell's novels "At Risk" and "The Front."

The actress states that she had to play a self-centered sex addict who has sex with young men, and had to undress for a sex scene. She said she's pretty shy and had to take off her clothes and see herself in the mirror.

MacDowell has long been a warrior against age-ist attitudes in Hollywood. As a spokesperson for L'Oreal Paris at 51 years old, MacDowell dismisses the idea that a woman has to be young to be beautiful.
